I came by today specifically for this reportedly Great made to order takeout menu, which seems to be in operation as of two months ago. However, when I asked the cashier, she said they stopped that “a while ago“ and sometimes on Saturdays they will have a dish. Idk my impression was that takeout part of the business has been phased out. Odd because it seems(ed) to be a standout feature of the place. In terms of grocery selection, do a good job at stocking essential items for various Asian cuisines, however it is a mom and pop which means items are on the more pricey side. Came with high hopes left with an awkward cashier convo.

Food is to go only. There is nowhere to sit down to eat.Ordered at the counter. Food was ready in about 10-15 minutes. I got the seafood and scallion pancake and spicy squid. Pancake could have been cooked a little longer to have more crunchy texture and to caramelize the onions a bit, but in my book the taste was totally there. It was a large portion. The spicy squid pleasantly surprised me! I wasn't expecting all the veggies and the added rice and radish kimchi was a welcomed bonus. The dish is amazing. The squid sauce was not too spicy, it was just right. It does build up though as you eat. The texture of the squid was also great, not rubbery at all with just the right amount of chew with the thicker pieces. This is also a large portion and could easily be shared. I would definitely recommend and would get it again.
When I walked into the store one of the korean workers looked at me like I dont belong in the store. She seemed angry and irritated. I think this might be due to the store being off of Montgomery where there is a lot of homeless and shady characters wandering about. They do have a lot of items that aren't available at stores like Talin Market off of central and Louisiana. Another plus is that they do accept ebt. Prices are a little high (common for small business stores) but nothing unreasonable. The korean lady behind the counter was very nice and friendly and also spoke good english. There is a small restaurant side of store to eat or you can order for takeout. Really authentic prepared korean dishes like bul-go-gi (marinated beef plate) served with rice and kimchi and spicy cucumbers.
